We do a lot of our best work in Slack. It's faster than email, and it keeps the whole conversation in one place instead of scattered across inboxes. If your organisation uses Slack, you can reach us through Slack Connect in about a minute — just invite derek@helikona.com .

Best for a quick hello or a single question.

  1. In Slack, click the + next to Direct messages (or the compose icon).
  2. Type derek@helikona.com .
  3. Slack will offer to send a Slack Connect invite — send it.
  4. Once we accept, you'll have a direct message thread with us.

For ongoing work

Start a shared channel

Best when a few people on each side need to be in the conversation.

  1. Create a channel for the conversation — or pick one you'd like to share.
  2. Open the channel, click its name at the top, and choose to connect it with an organisation outside your workspace (Slack Connect).
  3. Invite derek@helikona.com .
  4. We'll accept, and we'll pick things up from there.
